So far behind
6 and a half weeks until the mini and I feel like I'm starting from scratch again. I haven't even glanced at the training log in over 2 weeks now, but I was right on schedule before that. I think I'm pretty much healed from the fall, but now I'm worried about my hip. I think I may have been overly worried about my knee yesterday and altered my stride, which in turn messed up my hip. I'm wondering if there is enough time to get back to where I was 2 weeks ago plus keep upping the mileage to get ready for 2 hours. I'm not so sure.
So slow
I ran 6 miles yesterday! Two weeks ago that would have been nothing worth noting, but that's the most I've run in a while now. Feeling better, but pretty worried about that time goal since the 6 miles were super slow. Very frustrating.

Physical therapy again...
Just went to the UD health center and they referred me to physical therapy. The doctor was concerned that my knee "crunches". I'm not exactly sure what that means but it can't be good. It might be time to get to know how pool running works.

Ouch
It's been 6 days since I fell on the ice and I'm still hurting. Not so good. I've run twice since then and thought it was okay. Yesterday I did 2 miles outside and felt like it was fine but today I ran 5 miles on the treadmill and had to stop and stretch a few times. I felt like I had done a long run- more like mile 15 or 20 of the marathon. But not 5. This is depressing. Think I'm going to push on for a few more days and then consider a doctor visit it it doesn't get better.I looked up stuff on bone bruising today which seems to line up with what happened to me, and the healing time was 4 weeks or longer. I'm ignoring that for now.

Maybe today is the day I'll actually start keeping a log of my running. At the moment, I can't run at all though- probably the reason I am actually on here reading past workout notes. Blizzard 2010 injured me and I'm going to give my leg one more day to heal. Haven't run since Monday and I'm eager to get back outside because training was going so well. Hopefully one more day of rest will be all I need.
